Playing with Gimp
So I have been playing some more with gimp: Today I followed this toutorial (which wouldn't be bad for world creation in Traveler and other world games). Part 1Part 2
That's some pretty impressive results. It makes me want to start trying my hand at it! Could be fairly useful for creating your own campaigns, or possibly even your own homebrew setting.
Yes, Though the learning curve is rather steep. However, It does have uses above and beyond just creating gaming related materials (if there is such a thing).
